Payment Gateways

Accepting payments online can seem like a daunting process at first with many aspects to consider, merchant accounts, payment processors, credit card security. 

To accept credit and debit card payments online you need two things:-

Firstly and most importantly you need to acquire a merchant number through one of the acquiring banks.

Secondly you need a PSP (payment service processor) who will act as the processor for each individual transaction, reporting on the authorisation from the acquiring (merchant) bank.
